ARFC – Hurricanes
(School Year 3)
Head Coach – Jamie Booth-Wilde
Coaches – Matt Rice, Richard Keeley & Ivor Duffy
A great squad of established Players, that are always welcoming to new Players joining us at any point in the season.
Players chose ‘Hurricanes’ as their collective team name at the end of our first season and that is what we are now known as.
Please come along – new players can try it out for a few weeks before they need to commit to the club.
Turn up on Sunday mornings (please check the fixture list or give us a call to check we are at home) 09:45 for a 10:00 start.
We train for about 2 hours and mix training drills with practise games in order to help the Players develop the core skills they will require in future years.
The coaches encourage Teamwork and try to keep sessions fast paced, active and most importantly FUN.
Parents are encouraged to stay and watch – feel free to grab a tea or coffee from the clubhouse when it’s cold.
To participate in training and games Players should have the correct kit:
Sports Tops (no hoods/zips)
Football/Rugby Boots (ideally)
Gum shields are encouraged to be worn.
Players should also bring a bottle of water (and maybe a little snack bar).
